Community Development Skills Training:

This 6-week course is for community leaders and group members and will cover subjects such as:
– Best practice in governance
– Roles of officers and running effective meetings
– Strategic planning
– Participating in decision making and effecting change
– Fundraising.

Support for the establishment of (or on-going development of) local groups addressing issues affecting mental health.

Support for New Communities:

Support for the establishment of peer-support self-help groups among new communities in West Cork towns. The groups will develop a range of services and supports to address issues identified by new communities.
