Schull now has two Slí na Sláinte loops.
The Red loop walk is 1.6km and starts at the East End Car park opposite the Town Hall. Follow the route east on grass walk way until you come to the gate on your right at the entrance to the tennis courts. Follow the footpath along the waterfront through the old railway track passing through the Pier picking up the foreshore walk on the southern side of the Pier. Continue along this pathway until you come to the Sailing Centre take a right here and pass through the Community College car park, take a right on to Colla Road and return to Schull along the footpath. Cross on to Main Street and continue down the town till you reach the Town Hall take a right into the East End Car park.
To follow the 2.7km yellow route continue past the Sailing Centre and follow the pathway along the shoreline and through the Cemetery. Take a right onto Colla Road and return to Schull along the footpath. Cross on to Main Street and continue down the town till you reach the Town Hall take a right into the East End Car park.
This brings the number of Slí na Sláintes in west Cork to 7, there is also one on Bere Island and 10 others located throughout the rest of Cork county.
