National Trails Day 2012 was one to remember on the Drimoleague Heritage Walkways. 22 people came to view the new Bird Hide which was officially opened and to enjoy a walk. Local people also contributed to the commentary with new and interesting facts. Inside the new Bird Hide there is a poster which was specially commissioned by Michael O Clery, author of various books on bird-watching in Ireland.
