The West Cork Development Partnership in association with the Irish Museums Association is delighted to announce the roll out of a Museum/Heritage Centre Training Course in West Cork. This course has been devised specifically for voluntary-run projects by the Irish Museums Association and The Heritage Council.
The Course will take place in Dunmanway and will consist of eight sessions over four Saturdays on the following dates are: Sat 17th May, Sat 24th May, Sat 7th June and Sat 14th June.
Topics covered will include:
- Introduction to Museums
- Collecting and Collections Care
- Display
- Management & Governance
- External Relations
- Documentation
- Preventative Conservation
- Education & Access
