A guide to information in the Macroom area
If you live in the Macroom area – watch out for this new leaflet which will be coming through your doors during the week beginning 9 November. Its what we call a ‘keeper’. It is a leaflet outlining 9 different agencies providing information in the Macroom area. It was put together by West Cork Development Partnership to ensure that people in the Macroom area were aware of the information services available to them locally. It includes a brief synopsis and contact details for 9 different agencies.
In addition to this leaflet there will be a public information event. This event will be held on Tuesday 24 November from 12:00pm – 2:00pm in the Ardilaun Suite in the Castle Hotel, Macroom. It will feature representatives from each of the 9 agencies in the leaflet. It is an open and free event where people can browse, pick up information or talk to all or some of the agencies present. Information will include pensions, rights and entitlements, courses, employment, enterprise and money advice. Limited interpretation will be available.
