Health Care Assistant course

Health Care Assistant course begins Monday the 25th of February at 9:15 am.

Venue: GAA Club in Clonakilty.

This course is full time Monday through Friday 9:15am to 3:45pm for 16 weeks followed on by 13 weeks or 350 hours of work experience in a care facility which we organise.

At the end, the student is provided with hands on assistance in attaining their new job in their new field with their FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Health Care. They will retain their weekly funds from the government.

The requirements are simple, a desire to become a carer, physically able to help others, be unemployed for 12 months or more and collecting job seekers allowance/benefits or stamps.
