Development of a Plan for ‘Fishing Dependent Communities’
in Counties Cork and Kerry

All those connected with or interested in fisheries/Seafood, the marine economy, and Marine tourism are encouraged to attend.
The South West Fishery Local Action Group have commissioned a strategy for the coast of counties Cork and Kerry which will identify priorities for spend in the area under the European Fisheries Fund Axis IV Programme. The strategy will be like a LEADER strategy, except with a very specific focus on fishing communities and activities that celebrate and build linkages to the sea and marine resources.
Communities living within 10kilometres of the coast, who have a connection with coastal and fishing livelihood are encouraged to come along and express their views and ideas.
