Social Inclusion Overview
Local & Community Development Programme (Formerly LDSIP and CDP)
The Local and Community Development Programme (LCDP) provides funds for a large part of West Cork Development Partnerships’ social inclusion programming and supports. The funding is made available by the Department of Community, Rural & Gaeltacht Affairs, and is administered through Pobal. The core aim of the LCDP is “to provide funding to Area & Community Partnerships that adopt a partnership approach to tackling local issues on the basis of comprehensive, integrated local action plans designed to counter Social Exclusion”.
