National Tree Week is an annual event organised by the Tree Council of Ireland and this year it is taking place from 7^th to 13^th of March. The theme is ‘Twenty Ten – Plant Again’.  The aim of National Tree Week is to raise awareness about trees and to encourage local communities to participate.

If your community group is interested we would be obliged if you would contact us by Tuesday 23^rd February 2010 to express your desire to participate, with details on the number of trees required, the location where they are to be planted and confirmation that the trees will be looked after by your group. Allocations will be made on a first come, first served basis.
